Pavel Isupov
Pavel Isupov's practice is informed by how painting can bring out the poetics of a place. He explores how the application of paint, often washy but consolidated in places, can conjure up evocative, almost tactile, textures and forms. He also employs atmospheric lighting to convey a poetic experience of a place.
